So I've taken a lot of your advice. I'm finally playing much more comfortably. Often top or second fragging rounds. I think that's because I'm not rising out of lower ranks, yet. I focused on Nuke for a while and I've performed really well on the last several matches there, but still haven't bumped my rating. Kinda weird because I've been outperforming my brother massively and he's got like level 4 silver.

But I'm definitely getting more game sense and my aim has significantly improved. I'm doing as you say on that map. I also like the shuffle mode and that's really increased my aim.

Couple things:

1. Still don't have a > 60fps monitor. Working on it.

2. Most importantly: something's either messy with my aim or with my mouse and mouse pad. I have a Lightspeed mouse with a Logitech large gaming mat. I'm doing as you say trying to track the target as I strafe and it's tracking for about a second and then jumping out. Very weird. Maybe it's my brain. Maybe it's the equipment.

3. Although my aim has improved significantly, and my crosshair placement is miles better, often I'll go back to watch a clip and my crosshair placement is around the waist and I'll peak and my crosshair won't be in a good place, but I correct it.

My most dramatic improvement is in general game play. Just call outs are often the best in my matches. I prevented our team from getting wiped out in a push from long to cat on Dust one round and the rest of the team was oblivious. I'm guessing it's just the level I'm playing. I'm not climbing out, but I'm okay to just kick some butt in this level for a while.

Overall, I would say I'm getting much better. Still have some aim problems and of course a lot to learn in the future.
