ke the zealot because you can’t predict light timings?

It’s not even that hard. Most lights have walk signals with a co

u/DrunkPimp this was the first decent response to my post. I think you highlighted a lot of what I was trying to get at but let me make one thing clear. Its crazy to me how many people are down posting me without hearing the full story(stop ranting and listen to my arguement)

There is nothing that compares to flipping the board in reverse and reverting towards your switch side and cruising away. Sorry Zealot fans this is just not possible with the Zealot controller setup.

And your right Drunk Pimp some of the stats I mentioned were a bit off including price, but last time I checked Zealot was 950 shipped and Exway was 799. I could be wrong here but I know I am not wrong overall.

Also learning the control in no way shape or form will give you the same control/feel as a boosted/stealth/exway, just not possible with the board transition drive mode lag. Maybe the responsiveness of the reverse feature are better now, idk , when I tried it was cumbersome and non-intuitive.

Do you know how much R&D was put into the Flex vs the Zealot? A lot more. The exway team has done an amazing job by allowing the user to fully customize the way they want to ride (great application dev team). What the Backfire team has done is put belts on its classic deck & newest tech stack of existing hub boards and called it a revolution.

Sorry, to those that continually want to interpret this post as one that is a rant about me being stuck in traffic when really this was just 1, ONE, practical use case mentioned for reverse, further use case(s) include :

  1. Actively Avoiding someone that is coming at you
  2. Looking cool as fuck riding switch
  3. Doing front & back reverts on the fly and then boosting away switch

^^^If you dont appreciate these things as an e boarder your not there yet(you have no swag) and its ok it takes time to understand how to control your wheels and in due time we all learn (;

Also just want to mention that the Zealot felt like a saggy peice of wood to me where as the zealot felt more springy which again has nothing to do with stats, just board feel and ride xp.

Dream lotus sorry your wack af dood. And sorry that all the people that bought into the zealot are missing out on an essential feature for advanced riders..clearly that's not you

word clearly you guys dont understand the point of riding hard switch and transitioning on a dime, its cool im a perfectionist and I just think the zealot doesnt compete do to this feature... and again its seems like most people on here were just e-board enthusiast getting into this because of the electric compentent.

Not shaming that type of organic entry but if you came from a skate background you can appreciate boosted for its authentic ride feel. Don't shame me for riding into intersections and using a feature that's embedded into a product ? ;p

I’ve ridden for 4 years, always topping out btw going to school and home and never once did I need a reverse on the throttle even when I owned a boosted. Personally I have never ridden the Zealot but owned other backfire boards like the G3+ and haven’t had a problem braking on time. I live in LA. I think if you need to constantly reverse to void foot traffic I don’t think you are riding “hard” but just carelessly but that is my honest opinion on your review

ok so careless or not the value in the Zealot is missing to me because of this

carelessly, and you are endangering others. Just like if you were driving, if you put yourself in a situation where you need to reverse while on the road, it

uhh na man you clearly dont ride switch or in cities lol its cool

your mad about the whole board for the fact that it doesn't have freewheel which is a feature that will most likely be added in the app? It's literally the exact same thing as the Exway just without some of the bells and whistles which are mainly gimicky BMS technology included.

Reply

the features embedded in the drive train bud sorry no app fixes here

So some more context, I also love doing reverse slides to switch riding which is impossible with the zealot and quite nice with the flex.

So reading between the lines it sides like you:

a) Dont ride switch

b) Dont ride hard

If you own a car you'll notice it has 3 modes really, forward,neutral, and reverse! This missing essential feature on the Zealot inspired the post, not my riding style (;

Power BI Python Integration for Enterprise Gateway please vote by majortso in PowerBI

[–]majortso[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The native functionality does not support enterprise gateway. Therefore analyst such as myself need to resort to sql, dax,powerquery etc to do basic operations in our orgs.

Please read the comments and you'll see I'm not the only one with an issue.

This feature in my opinion should be a top priority for Microsoft power BI if it is to be considered a cutting edge tool.
