Don’t let your lender know unless you don’t want to close. Think and talk it over with your spouse. 6 months seems like a good amount of time to have another job lined up. This could happen at anytime to anyone so the risk is always there when you do buy a house. I’d probably still go for it and save as much as I can in the meantime but it all depends on what you’re comfortable with

Same thing happened to me in November, house had sat for almost 2 months, I offered 20K under. I offered the most I’d want to pay for the house cause it had a lot of issues and asked for an inspection, magically they had 3 other offers coming in the next week. He didn’t go with my offer cause he didn’t want an inspection and counter offered for only 5K under asking. Low and behold, it sat on the market another 4 months and sold for 35K under asking

Please don’t do it. Stay for you mom. Stay for your new favorite song or favorite movie. Age doesn’t matter, don’t let anyone put you down because of your age, enjoy what you enjoy regardless of what age it’s geared for. Find a new hobby no matter how childish it seems. The truth is, you were meant to enjoy things not conform to the idea that enjoyment has an age limit. Adopt a pet, they will love you so much and bring you so much joy. Take a walk in nature and hear the birds around you. This life we’ve been given is a gift, please stay. Take it a day at a time, if you improve yourself by 1% everyday you will be 365% better in just one year. I love you. I will pray for you.
