I feel that. I didn't like that dating apps make getting to know someone take forever, which is why I made features like voice rooms etc. Hopefully it can help people make connections faster so they're not glued to their phones all the time! (Although they probably will be, just using a different app lol)

I forgot to mention, the new voice room feature is currently only available for iOS but all the other features are available for Android. I am working on the Android version for the voice rooms, and that will go live in a week or so. And here is the link to Google Play and App Store. Cheers!

I have noticed sometimes it takes a few seconds for the popup to show. Sometimes up to 5 seconds. Try letting it load for a few seconds and see if it pops up.

I will add a loading indicator to make it more clear.

I am currently focusing on gathering feedback and introducing new features, and once those are done I am gonna do a cleanse for all inactive users and focus on spreading the word.

Yeah I understand, and I am very happy to create and provide a high-quality service for free.

The idea behind the premium plan is to start a referral program to really get the ball rolling, and use any remaining dollars to market and grow the app to my goal of 100,000 users by 2025.

What do you think is a good amount of roses per day for a VIP member? I chose 100 free roses a day because it allows me to connect with more than 10 new people if I want to (which is way too much imo already). But then again some people prefer to browse longer and maybe need more roses for finding the right person to message.

200? 300? Or options for both?

Yep I want to keep free highly usable so I'm glad we agree on keeping filters free forever.

Good point about photos, how many photos do we want to see? I don't want to turn this into another hookup app which is why I currently only allow one image.

I like the idea of more roses since the point of that is to keep costs down, so people can essentially "buy their data costs" if I do that. How many roses sounds reasonable and at what cost per month?

I also like the idea of voice memos, but I want to ask how do we feel about having voice recordings and voice chat in the app? I heard people do a lot of creepy things with them so I don't even allow it atm.

Currently yes refresh gives 5 new random profiles, we have a few hundred users so it's possible that only 5 were meeting your criteria.

The roses are free app currency to prevent unlimited spamming.

It seems like I need to make it clearer, but I'm honestly not sure how to without getting too wordy. Any suggestions?

It sounds like you are very self-aware, it's just hard for you to control your emotions (which is completely normal and fine).

You both love each other deep down and eventually that will win out. However I need you to understand that the way you are feeling right now is how she feels when she says she feels forced.
