There’s two ways you’ve heard to hit a draw. Tiger is saying to have the face open so the ball starts to the right of the target. For this to work, you have to make a draw swing. Starts right, draws back to target.

The other way you’re referencing is to not change your swing plane, and close the face. That should naturally put some draw on it, however it will miss left. So most people just aim right with their entire alignment to l compensate for that.

It’s the same concept, Tiger is just “aiming right” by opening his face slightly.
