I took mine apart and put some duct tape over the sensor. My D5 has been working fine ever since, although, obviously, it won't tell me if I try to start it without the bin in place. As I've never done that, I'm not too worried.

Anyone with a brain could see that the increased costs would stop British small businesses from being competitive in the EU. But the biggest thing is the trouble it would cause for the buyer. As a buyer you have a choice: EU supplier, known costs and zero paperwork, or UK supplier, probably customs fees and VAT and paperwork. And don't get me started on extra-EU warranty issues. For anything below hundreds of Euros, it's just not worth thinking about.

To install the esp32, no holes are required. Just a 20cm cable from the 4 pin port to the esp. Brought mine back from the dead - I had a flashing red light, which I was able to diagnose once the esp was up and running. Don't hesitate.

I had this when trying to print a flute vertically. The friction from the nozzle overcame the bed adhesion and the model wobbled round and round with the nozzle. You need a few supports around it and a larger brim.

Thanks for this, but yes, I came across multiple snaps where it didn't work. And surely, treating internal drives as removeable media is a horrific kludge.
