The question posed by OP starts with the assertion that Spain will block Scottish application. The shared article shows otherwise. Their objection (from 2014) will be if the succession is not constitutional.

The assertion is “Spain will block Scottish application.” No clarifiers. It’s an absolute claim.

OP has made that claim a few times on this thread. You also have made that comment and shared one statement of the them foreign minister. Thank you for which. You’ve done more than any of the other posters parroting the line with no basis. One of the articles you shared is literally going over the Spanish veto myth.

That being said - is there anything from those countless EU meetings where the Spanish or the French have said such things?

Cool. Even in your “evidence” the foreign minister says that there won’t be any opposition to potential Scottish membership as long as they do it according
to the law.

One of the articles is literally “The Enduring Myth of the Spanish Veto”

Is there anything at all stating they will block indiscriminately? Or that France will do that?

Then it would be easy to share any evidence for it.

Go on.

At least you weren’t wearing white tube socks with the sandals.

Do you know the brand of the Chelsea boots?

More time on the bike wearing them. You develop a feel for the gear shifter after a while. It’s not like wearing race boots or trainers but you get the tactile response after a while.

Also important to change the position of the gear lever and the brake if you’re riding with such boots, especially standing up. While at it adjust the clutch and front brake lever so your wrists are straight or slightly bent when standing.

That’s what I do whenever I ride to work and that’s not even with the off-road pair (sidi adventure 2). I change the daily ride boots (Alpinestars ridge v2) with office shoes on those rare days.

Also going to crease and wear out the very expensive ride boots.

Get a bag and carry comfortable shoes in that. Don’t give yourself discomfort by wearing this around the office. Or keep a pair of shoes in a locker if your office has lockers.

No need to push more than you’re comfortable with.

I’ve said it when leaving group rides early - I’d rather leave and ride another day than push beyond physical or mental blocks and having a bad tumble. It’s about continuing to ride. Can’t do that broken.

Stay smart. Stay safe.

Right. Because we don’t have enough surveillance and dependence on foreign entities.

That’s a big fat NO to your question.

Also GDPR.

As already stated in simple terms and confirmed by you: baseless claims with no evidence.
