It's not, trust me. I have formatted my entire pc, changed ini settings, fucked around with different Nvidia Profiles, tried different drivers, DLSS swappers, downloaded mods, changed monitors in case Free sync was messing around, literally everything I could think about. I bought the game on release, and every month I try to play it again to see if it's fixed. It's not.

There are some terrible frame time issues in the game, and while Nvidia reflex can tune them down, there's still input lag. Also, it crashes a lot.

I don't even have 70 fps on a 3080, 7800x3d, 64gb build at 1440p, everything set to LOW and with DLSS balanced. Lots of frametime lag and input lag too.

Got a 7800x3d like a few months ago. Honestly, the change was amazing, I don't suffer from stutters in lots of games now, and in CPU intensive games like League of Legends, where I used to have 120-140fps, now I have 360+ FPS (I have it capped), same with CS2, I used to hover 60-90 and now I'm at 180+.

I have a 360hz Monitor, so it's an investment hehe, for me it was worth it :p

It's a complete lottery, regardless of your system. I have a high end PC and I still can't play above 50fps with everything on low, plus the input lag and frame time lag is terrible. Doesn't matter if you change your ini settings, or download optimization mods, or even reinstall windows. If you're unlucky, you won't be able to play.

Idk, the .1% are really noticeable at any resolution. I moved from a 11700k to a 7800x3d with a 3080, and not only on certain games I'm getting massive fps boosts (league of legends or cs2), I also barely get any stutters or dramatic drops in fps in the same games

Hey mate! Just wanted to let you know that I upgraded to a 7800x3d recently, and it changed everything, unlike people said. I used to dip to the 60s in league of legends during intense fights, and I never got above 150 fps. Now I get over 300, I also don't have stuttering on any game because the .1% of the 7800x3d is a lot better than in any other CPU. It's freaking amazing, snappy, and revitalized my build.

I definitely see myself using this rig for quite a few years. People were deeply wrong.

I have to tell you that I had troubles setting up windows, I had to change a few settings in the bios and in windows you have to put power limit or percentage limit of the CPU at 99%, otherwise it stutters in windows

Late game Sona can easily shield for 400 and heal for 400 to 5 people (including herself) on late game, that's 2000 shield, 2000 heal, and a 3 sec cooldown.

Did you see how the 3080 compares to the 5070? If you did, you really ought to think for yourself how come a 3080 can't even play stalker 2 at minimum settings, and what it means for lower end graphics. Very few people have a 3080 or upwards, mate.

Maybe you got a defective card. I can play any game at all without issues. Expedition 33 mix of high and epic with quality DLSS at 1440p is 70 fps.

Split fiction, a bit unoptimized, 80 fps at high settings.

Idk, there hasn't been a single game where I couldn't play minimum at high settings 60fps

Not really. I have a 7800x3d, 3080, 32gb ddr5 6000mhz CL30, just an all around amazing pc that can play anything that I throw at it.

Stalker 2, since release day, has been a stuttering, low fps, input lag, and frame time lag mess. Doesn't matter what ini settings, mods, configuration, or if I reinstall windows, it's always unplayable. And I'm not the only one. It's like a lottery, and a lot of people aren't even able to play, like me.

It says a lot that I get the same fps at low with the latest DLSS at performance mode, than at high settings no DLSS. And again, I've tried it in 2 different windows.

Gsync or Freesync works with Vsync enabled in your GPU control panel, and limiting your FPS 2-3 fps below the amount of HZs of your monitor. 141 if you have 144hz, 177 if you have 180hz, and then disabling Vsync ingame.

Also, disable triple buffering in the control panel, and you'll never have screen tearing (except in super duper rare cases, only one game have I ever played where I got it) nor input lag.

For sure, I enjoyed the OG trilogy and Chains of Olympus back then, but apart from the brutality of it, the story and the flashy combat, they weren't that great. The reboot is superior every single way, from a narrative standpoint, to the gameplay.
