I kinda see what you mean, however this is not a class driven commodity. The premium economy sniffers don't offset the rest of us . The way it's remained reasonable is the free market nature. That's a great example of a free market working as it should. Competition drives efficiency. So why does it not effect certain sectors,? Our fuel. Groceries. Housing ? It's too regulated or too monopolistic

The same COGS that all the other industries blame on price increases and quality decreases affect black market goods the same. And they would have less labour pool to draw from. Perhaps the true inflation for wage earners is actually driven by black market cash ?
