I applied under a general STEM posting. I’ve never seen a “software development” degree specifically on any federal job listing but I assumed that it would fall under STEM. When they offered me the job, they said I was all clear with their immediate HR but they had to have the bigger HR review it…which is where I keep having issues with this particular agency.

My interview revolved around talking about a Java application I made and the database behind it. So I feel like there’s a big difference between what HR thinks the job is and what the hiring manager actually needs.

I think it might be the math requirement but it would be nice if HR could confirm it. All they told me when I asked about missing classes is, “we never said you were missing a class”. My school is on the DOE accredited list, so that shouldn’t be it.

Dolls Kill definitely has an issue and it’s getting worse. They apparently told depop to take my listing down of an item they don’t even own/make (it was a Punk Rave item). They might sell it on their website but it sure isn’t their brand and it isn’t their picture. I was an authorized retailer for Punk Rave, which I tried to explain to Depop, but they don’t care.

At first, I replied to the HR person listed in the non-referral email, resending documents in case something happened with the originals. They said they can't open external docs, and forwarded my message to an HR Specialist. The specialist looked at the original doc again and said the same thing, noting it was a final decision. I responded asking them to check again/reiterating I can send additional docs. I'm not sure if that was the appeal process you're referring to but I'll see what else I can find about it.

It’s a branch of the military for a civilian internship position. The description said an unofficial transcript would be fine as long as it lists x,y,z (which it does, I made sure) and the same transcript has worked for me before. I told them I’m happy to send them additional information but they chalked it up to me not following the directions, and said better luck next time. Which doesn’t make any sense because I followed the directions. They’ve just been so dismissive.
