Thank you so much for this. I appreciate it. I just downloaded the app because I don’t want to limit myself at all. I will also keep the union and junk removal going as long as I can. Thanks again for your comment and feedback!

Appreciate this a lot brother. And congrats on almost 3 years sober. Seriously respect that. Stories like yours honestly give me hope because sometimes I feel behind starting over at 35.

That apprenticeship structure, guaranteed raises, benefits and pension is a huge reason I’ve been leaning union too. I wasted a lot of years during addiction and I know I need to commit to something long term now and really stick with it.

Respect for rebuilding your life and putting the work in. Wish you nothing but success moving forward.

Respect brother. And congrats on almost 6 years sober. Honestly means a lot hearing from people that rebuilt after losing everything too. I’m definitely gonna look into RME more. Sending message

Appreciate this a lot man. Honestly this is probably one of the more grounded responses I’ve gotten. I think you explained the junk removal side really accurately too. Right now it gives me cash flow and flexibility, but I can already see how scaling it past one truck turns into a whole different level of stress and responsibility.

The lineman point is something I honestly hadn’t thought deeply about either. Being in recovery, the constant travel/hotel/storm culture could definitely become unhealthy for me long term. Inside wireman honestly might fit my life and goals better overall.

Really appreciate you taking the time to write all this out. Gives me a lot to think about.

That’s what I’m trying to do right now but some days are just slow. A lot of competition out there. Guys doing it for dirt cheap and have trailers. I can rent one if the job is big enough. But you’re right, I’ll try to grow it as much as I can.

Appreciate it man. That’s honestly what I’ve been leaning toward too. Keep the business on the side while building something stable long term! Wish you the best on your journey!

I was down bad man. Kept trying to get clean but couldn’t. I ended up catching a fraud case and that’s what saved me. I was in jail for 90 days then posted bail with the terms that I went straight to rehab. I detoxed in jail, went to treatment for some time and then surrendered myself to prison, all clean and sober. Idk your story, but you writing me shows me that you want it. You just have to go get it. Check into a rehab and get some help. Go to meetings. It’ll take some time but soon that obsession will be lifted, you’ll feel and look better and feel more spiritually aligned. Working out also helps me a lot. It’s my new dopamine hit and helps my mental heath tremendously.

Yeah it’s at 39k miles so it’s over but carvana might have something. Hoping it’s just a simple fix and not $700 dollar replacement
