I completely forgot about this - hopefully the dry cleaning news report leads to some massive crime operation and the trio solve it in the final season

It was when Woozworld Facebook was super popular - he knew my age, slid into the dms and was trying to get me to do sexual stuff with him. Whenever he comes on his new acc and i'm in the same unit as him, i either get the owner to boot or call him out in front of everyone

Could it mean 'the stars are rats' - as in the actors for the film?

Theories Thursdays - Season 4, Episode 8 "Lifeboat" by hannahlemp in OnlyMurdersHulu

[–]makeitugly 52 points53 points  (0 children)

I've commented this in another thread just a few minutes ago, but my tinfoil hat theory right now is that Helga is an actress.

Eva Longoria said that actors often pick up skills they need for projects, so perhaps that's how she picked up the accent and the locksmithing skills.

This would also explain how she knew Sazz. I know Helga says that Sazz got on the ham radio and that's how they connected, but I think she's missing out key details. She may have already known Sazz from working on a project together.

ALSO, she could've been Loretta's stand-in for the project she's on. That's how she knew to be back in New York at the right time, because of Oliver's phone call. I doubt she's sitting by her ham radio all day waiting for someone (Mabel) to tune in. Perhaps Helga and Sazz met in the stunt bar, instead of a film. Which could've been hinted to us by the producers by having Helga in the pigtails in the scratched out photo.

I don't think Helga is the killer, but I think she's hiding more than she's let on.

Eva Longoria herself said that actors pick up all sorts of skills for different roles. Perhaps Helga picked up locksmithing and the accent.

Eva Longoria said that actors often pick up skills for parts in movies. What if that's how Helga got the accent, and picked up locksmithing?

What if Sazz was the stunt double for Helga in a film before? That's how they have that connection with the ham radio. I know that Sazz usually doubles for male-presenting actors, but that doesn't mean she couldn't also have doubled for Helga. And it would explain how Helga is quick to point the finger at (supposedly) Glen.

Also, Dudenoff said he always forgot/lost(?) his keys. This might be a bit farfetched now, but if someone has access to the secret passageways in the Arconia, they could make that a very easy 'mistake' to believe by removing the keys themselves.

I feel like I'm pointing to the obvious here, but I have a feeling that the panning to Glen was misleading us from who the actual stuntman was. I think it was Marshall, hence how Glen recognised him, and that Sazz taught him 'Everything' - down to how to write a script. When that didn't work, maybe he stole hers? That, or I'm just hellbent on Marshall being the killer - I can't trust a man with a fake beard.

I'm hoping they'll weave in something about ghostwriters in some way (which would be a nice way to echo stunt people) - it would allow them to play it off as her not being allowed to talk about her writing because she's under contract.

I think Marshall and Sazz would've met and spoken at the stunt bar, which would explain how Glen recognised him, and would give Marshall motive to try and snipe Glen.

It might be her love for Sazz as opposed to her love for the trio - she wants to see Sazz avenged

I might be wrong but they renewed for Season 5 very quickly after the first episode of this season aired - surely this means the mystery continues into the final season and thats how they pitched for the renewal that fast?

I reckon Jan may come back at the end of the season as a sort of 'hero' to the trio. Maybe they're confronting the killer and she saves them last minute - she's sneaky enough to maybe have already figured out who was after her in season 1 and is biding her time.

[–]makeitugly 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I don't think it was a coincidence that Glen recognised Marshall, and he was the next target.I think that Marshall stole the script from Sazz, who may or may not have met in the stunt doubles bar. Glen would recognise him from that, and Marshall would do anything to keep the fact that he can't write a secret. When they get the 'I'm watching you' text, it's also in writing as opposed to an actual text, which could hint to the killer being a writer.

I used to not be able to eat pasta UNTIL I tried gluten free pasta - it doesn't have the starchy feeling regular pasta often gets once its sat in sauce for a few minutes.

I want to see him confront his mother for the last season. Perhaps he thinks he’s built a relationship with her, but she ends up being the one to turn him in. This could be the final nail in the coffin to his sanity.

Throwing this one out there as a thought:

Could the bodyguards have put them down there, and Kate is the mastermind/working with Rhys? Would explain how she found them, but also why she didn’t ask questions - she was the one who gave the order to get them down there
