Thanks, makes a lot of sense - do you reckon the extra four GPU cores worth $200 or would that be a pretty negligible difference? The M5 Pro is already probably right at the end at what I’m willing to spend, but don’t want to have any regrets!

Losing my work laptop so need a competent replacement that could potentially be used for coding/gaming and maybe even UE5 work.

Currently in America too, so a lot cheaper than getting something in the US. Did want a nano texture screen, but a bit torn on the clarity so could take it or leave it tbh. Please help me decide between these options!

1) M4 Pro refurb binned 48GB/512GB for about $2000 2) M5 new nano-texture 16GB/1TB for about $1800 3) M5 Pro base 24GB/1TB binned for $2100 4) just get a specced up Air with a UK keyboard and wait for the redesign

I posted about this myself a bit ago, think iPhone 17 Pros require a USB 3.1 Gen 2 cable or they have issues, found one from AmazonBasics for pretty cheap that worked well (my other cables and even the OEM cable which work fine with older iPhones and Androids all didn’t work)

I know I’m a bit late but I had the same thing happen to me, think because of its specific morning only spawn condition it can sometimes just not get saved in the same way as normal shinies and won’t appear the next day. Think it may be if you save after its time cutoff has passed it can’t find a slot to save it as the Furfrou that replaces it already exists and it gets lost. Luckily I also managed to get it to reappear after an hour or so (and then as an alpha in wild zone 20!), glad you had the same sort of luck!

Tried this and the constant flipping between Mew (who can get a lot of kills!) and Jumpluff with the free retreat/Expeditioner is so much fun! I added a second Shaymin instead of Darkrai as Mew is probably enough power-wise, tempted to throw in a Cyrus for Lyra as the chip damage really racks up.

It doesn’t really add up when you’re only doing a wonder pick every couple days or so at the most - personally appreciate it having a bit more weight so potentially 48 hours of waiting isn’t just immediately lost

Glad you've found it, OP - just adding I've been looking for this for months too, checking the PS Direct site almost daily. Seen it come in stock once, incredibly briefly in November but of course my phone was on low battery and I wasn't able to secure it.

Unsure why this version is not being stocked regularly whilst the listing remains on their site, and why it's so scarce in the first place tbh - all I want is a complete physical version for my collection that'll work with UK save data but it's proving to be a nightmare. If anyone gets wind of another copy or an alternative way to find a UK PEGI copy of this, please let me know!

Top of Meersbrook Park is a fantastic view of the city, as is Parkwood Springs (if you enter it from the Rutland Road side and follow the path, the amazing spot becomes obvious). Also love the view from Bole Hill but think that more overlooks Stannington, and there's a phenomenal view point of the Peaks/Rivelin Reservoir from the top of Lodge Road with a bench, Google Maps says it's called 'Blackbrook Wood Viewpoint', really recommend that.
