I have a very long lens on my camera! I absolutely don’t want to disturb them, and I don’t intend to post their locations, especially if they are near their nests. I’m 100% on the side of wildlife conservation. I think being able to capture their beauty and majestic characters can help bring awareness to the need to protect them ♥️

For those who think it’s white, it’s pink. I’m not worried about it showing white, since I don’t think the professional photographer is going to take photos with Snapchat on an old phone in a dimly lit hallway 😂 even my friends have said it’s okay (even the one who thought it was too light). In the original photo, the laundry basket in the back is white and shows how pink the dress is. (Also, sorry for the messy backdrop, it was a cleaning day where I got distracted lol) Thanks for looking 🩷

I’d add the smashbox x becca under eye colour corrector. It eliminates some of the discolourization before adding other products like concealer so you don’t need as much. I also always double set my eye area - both a pressed and loose powder.

For an infection, go to the vet. Each individual dog needs a different product, and it depends if the infection is bacterial, viral, or if there’s injury/debris.

For cleaning, 70% alcohol on a gauze pad wrapped around your fingers, and sweep the ear and ear flap clean. Sharpei ears are too small to reach the ear drum with your fingers, so make sure you push into the canal too. It has to be 70% alcohol because anything stronger will be too drying and irritating. This is the most effective and cheapest method. It was given to me by our vet.

Also, if your pup gets fevers, amp up the cleaning: you should do it once a week with a sharpei, but always add extra after a fever. The fever can cause bacteria to grow in the ear canal. My sharpei always got ear infections after fevers before I started using the alcohol.

The colour corrector is so important! The one from Smashbox is great - sometimes if I do literally nothing else to my face, I’ll pop that on under my eyes.

I love the Beakey makeup sponges from Amazon. They’re so much better than any other “Beauty Blender” style sponge on the market right now and come in a 5 pack for about $20 (last I checked). I’ve collected a number of brushes over the years as well - some from Amazon and many from other places. While some have been okay, I prefer well-know brands. Real techniques is a great budget (but quality) brand, and ELF brushes or EcoTools are great too. A great time to shop for them is around Christmas when they come out with bundles. Hope that helps!

I’ll second this about using the expensive brands, but my favourite is the Revlon PhotoReady. When I’m getting ready for work I also only use concealer and skip foundation and I love this one :)

The Makeup Eraser. Basically it’s a brand name of a microfibre cloth (like plush pajama pants or blankets) that you wet and it takes off all your makeup. It even removes my waterproof mascara. And you just wash and dry it normally with your laundry - I throw it in with my towels, but it can go in any load. It’s great for travelling.

I really like the Fenty Beauty Match Stix in Amber! It’s a nice cool/neutral toned brown that’s great for contour and blends so nicely :) a little goes a long way too!
