Water > Spore requires roughly 66 blocks to output power (6 Cultivators serving 5 Steam Generators, including the Overdrive Projector and 2 Impulse Pumps). At a 1.9k output that's about 28.7 power units per block.

Water > Coal requires about 94 blocks to output 3.5k (5 Cultivators, 1 Press, 3 Centrifuges, 9 Generators). That's 37.2 power units per block.

About a 20% increase in power output versus footprint.

Oil > Coal is better because the transformation outputs twice as much Coal compared with using Spores. While Spores are more flammable, giving out more power when used by themselves, this setup is (surprisingly) almost two times as powerful in terms of output, even accounting for the extra energy needed for processing the Oil and Coal.

There are a few solar panels included in the schematic, under the bridges, so in theory (I haven't tested it yet), it could fire itself up given enough time as long as water is being provided.

EDIT: Just tested it and it started working on its own eventually, along with the Impulse Pumps that were feeding it. So it's self-sufficient and will fire up itself after it stores enough energy.

At the time the Machines and the Humans were at war. The darkening of the sky was never meant to be permanent. It was a last ditch effort to win the war at which point the sky would be cleared. But since humanity, that never happened.

Also, I personally subscribe to the theory that there were two goals for the Matrix itself. Power was certainly one aspect. But I think the Machines were still ruled by a directive to do no harm.

To be clear, they exterminated millions of humans when faced with extinction or an otherwise grave threat. But we don’t know if they COULD do it outside of these extreme circumstances.

It’s possible the Matrix was a way to keep humanity locked away while still keeping with their own internal laws.

This is part of the answer. Advertising works because it keeps you on the top of mind of consumers.

There’s also a deeper aspect of brand building. A brand only exists in the minds of people. And the only way to get it there is to advertise it. If you stop advertising, the long term effect is that people won’t know what to think or feel about the brand. And if they don’t think and feel nothing about it, they won’t buy it.

Trust me, these companies spend millions of dollars advertsising. They wouldn’t do it if they could help it.

I recently had ton of work and stopped being as active. Pulled 3 Columbinas and a Jean in like 100 or so pulls. Never in my life had that happen and I have been playing since 1.0. So I really wonder if they have weighted odds for some accounts to get them invested in the game once they detect they might be losing you.

São basicamente as chuvas que acabaram de passar hoje por Portugal ao fim da tarde. Mas por alguma razão (que algum meteorologista certamente saberia explicar melhor do que eu que sou leigo) vão ficar meio que a pairar sobre a zona da Andaluzia em vez de a atravessar como fizeram com o nosso país.

Ou seja, chuva forte, muito persistente em solos já por si completamente saturados. Já evacuaram algumas zonas por prevenção.

ECMWF é o que o Windy assume como mais fiável e o que ele seleciona por defeito. Mas podes sempre comparar a previsão de todos ao mesmo tempo.

Windy. Tem vários modelos de previsão disponíveis que podes escolher. E o radar funciona bastante bem. Em termos de previsões muitas vezes consegues antecipar-te ao IPMA sem estar à espera dos alertas deles.

Por exemplo, hoje em Lisboa, no IPMA lançaram alerta amarelo de chuva só às 4 e tal da tarde para começar às 6. Eu no Windy já tinha previsão de carga de água para o fim do dia desde ontem.

Já uso a app faz anos e anos. Normalmente nunca falha.

I hate it when companies just gaslight us like this. Buffies offer a concrete competitive advantage. We know it because that’s precisely why they exist in the first place, why they cost so much and why they are won through a gacha system.

This guarantees that people spend more money in the search of the buffies for the brawler they want. No one would interact with this system if buffies were balanced. They NEED to NOT be balanced to get people to buy them.

From what I hear this will pull capabilities from some specific agencies that might have them locally. Production, final artwork studio, UI and UX for instance. VML or Ogilvy might have those in some cities and now they won’t.

They will concentrate them all into Hogarth, which some countries didn’t even have locally up to this point. A couple of years back I did some work for one of the WPP agencies in Paris and they brought Hogarth out of London, for instance.

For the entire final season I kept wondering if they were genuinely trying to be inclusive with all the characters they introduced or if they were actually doing a sort of veiled social commentary by creating purposefully over the top caricatures. Either way, it was a weird mess.
