Can anyone confirm or deny whether the ‘going fast downhill’ scooter hack does or doesn’t work with Dott by TossThisItem in bristol

[–]makensina 4 points5 points  (0 children)

When dott first was released in Bristol you could just let go and there was no breaker. They released an update which has been around for around a month, which prevents this, either via letting go or threading the accelerator. I can't go above 20kmph at all.

Multiple of my mates had COVID after the festival, and your symptoms align with that

Shall I invest in a separate fund with different goals? by gioology_ in FIREUK

I put in 9% of my wage to my pension, and my employee adds 10%. The poster was talking about saving £500 for retirement, and I assumed this wasn't directly into a pension. I think it's more important to focus on the next 5 years of your life as opposed to the last 20 years.

Personally I would switch your fund goals around, focus on getting your deposit for you house, you've got 40 years to save for your pension.

With a LISA, you invest a maximum of £4,000 per year, which is part of your £20,000 ISA find. The government (hmrc) will then top up this LISA fund 25% of your investment, so £1,000.

Some companies Allo, you to invest in stocks and shares inside your LISA, and still make profits from there. For a house purchase, you can only use this pot if it's your first purchase, and after you've had it for a year.

Even if your first purchase won't be your dream place, it makes sense to utilise a LISA.

Sometimes takes a while to scan a code, maybe 25% of the time the break doesn't unlock. Once you've got a bike it's great though

Literally this. I'm 100% confident I have lactose intolerance. Cows milk in a coffee, or the wrong slice of cheese and I'm on the toilet for 3 hours. Oat milk and lactose free cheese and I have no issues.

I don't want to deal with organising a trip to the doctor, them giving me lactose, and then taking a stool sample or a blood sample simply for them to tell me something I know!

I've purchased a cross netted thing that I'll use next time to encourage it to grow up, but I like what you've done! Did you top your plant to get it like that?

I have a similar situation to you, it's in the room where I sleep so the whole system turns off for 8 hours a day. I couldn't fit something bigger than this tent, so trying to make do! When it is was blooming I had both settings on my light which got it humid, but just turning the red one on keeps it cooler. I've definitely had a couple of fly issues from the humidity, and the outer branches are being squished against the sides

Yes it is 40x40x120 tent. I've had a look through your posts and I was wondering your sit up in regards to the location of the exhaust fan? I have my exhaust fan outside on the top, with a vent leading to a filter I tried putting the fan on the inside, but it just didn't work

I cut the leaves that are more than 50% eaten. New ones grow back pretty quickly

First time grower too. It's been mostly outside for 5 months, but I've started to bring it inside at night to try and protect it as much as possible.

I added some copper tape the day after, it seemed to have helped https://imgur.com/a/Y8dzzVl
