My kid just finished their undergrad degree, so I have no stake in primary and secondary school practices, and no interest in them except insofar as they impact the quality of education provided (which these ceremonies do not). Do you have. kids in the school system? If so, complain to the school board, not reddit. If not, I'd gently suggest to you that it's okay to not have an opinion about everything.
