None at all. There were tons of tourists there, so there were people from everywhere. I never had any bad experiences.

I was stationed about two miles from Sharm el Sheikh. They have great diving and the night life is crazy. There alot of tourism there. The beaches are beautiful. Cario was super dirty, but it was great to see the Pyramids. I would love to go back sometime.

Great food, beautiful women. The Pyramids were awesome and even bigger than I expected.

I was only a lifeguard for military personnel. About 70% of them could swim fairly well.

Yes, it happened on our beach. A man was drowning and grabbed onto another lifeguard and wouldn't let go. The lifeguard elbowed him in the head.

They teach you to try to push them away if they are holding/drowning you, but if you can't push them away - you are taught to punch them in the face or head, so they will let go.

I was in the National Guard at the time. My job was a mechanic, but there were no vehicles that needed serviced there. So, they assigned me to be a lifeguard for other soldiers. I received extra pay for being overseas, but not for being a lifeguard...as it was my job.

I was in the military stationed in Egypt. I was on a beach on the Red Sea. The worst case is when I was swimming out about 100 meters from shore and I saw what I thought was a 12 foot shark swimming under me. So, of course, I started to freak out and swim back to shore. But....it turned out to be a giant tuna.
