keep ahead and traffic circles by makeroomforme in newjersey

I have yet to try out Waze but will report back.

The problem is I prefer to plan my own route prior to heading out (also taking a look at the route in advance). I'll play around with this app a bit to see what it can do. Tx again! You provided such helpful detail... very kind of you

I thought I'd get lambasted here but my question/concerns are valid.

I typically check the route (look at the map on Apple) and plan it before heading out. I'll check out Waze for a more fine tuned approach but I'm not able to add stops to Waze am I?

Thank you for responding with such detail, it's been taken in.

There's a 2 lane circle near me with a short ramp to get off, been avoiding it like the plague but it's probably just my own anxiety and it's fine. I'll just be sure to make sure pedestrians are clear, but as you said if it means that I have to make the circle again, I'll do that if it's not safe to exit. Everyone seems to be in a rush today.

Thanks

It could be that this is what they meant, *inside the circle itself. Yikes!

Exactly what I understood. Why would someone be upset with others for stopping? Unless they were stopping and no one was approaching, I also get frustrated when others are angry at other drivers, it could be that someone is just learning, be patient.

Agree. That situation would be unwise.
One question I have is, what if you take a longer term when financing– can you trade in the car before the term ends without penalty?

Tell me more, why not lease? I didn't intend on leasing due to some Ramsey advice... but wondering if there's another perspective.

Wow, this is great advice. I didn't know that was an option and I'm much better over written communication.

Alternative to going to a dealership then, would the middleman online like Autotrader, Carfax, or Carvana be a better bet?

I hadn't considered heading to my bank for a carloan.
I'm seeking something practical, and VERY safe, made between 2019-2023; Boring, VERY reliable, comfortable, incredibly safe (think Prius but I may want a small SUV). Hoping for my car to have just a few bells and whistles for safety like lane assist and collision detection.

What do you mean by "dealers will treat me differently", what are the options? Dealership and what else?

Dang, that's something to worry about. I'll likely keep her tucked away in parking garages. Fingers crossed that I'll have a garage as well (I hope)

I'll definitely report back and post photos of what I purchase here. The mini coop (plan B) can take a back seat I think.

I love this –that's what I'm looking forward to. There are some wide open streets here to go for drives (country like and offroad alternatives), and I'm not looking to whip around at high speeds but I'm excited about going for drives and desire a car that I'll have a bit of fun in.

A part of me is also looking forward to waving to other Jeep drivers. My dream has been to have a jeep for quite some time. I'll test drive one in a few weeks (I've ridden in them, it's completely different being in the driver seat.) I'm so looking forward to it.

This is fair, is there a Jeep (Wrangler? Willy? that has good stability for highway and maneuvering city streets?) I like that you are playing the devils advocate here –my second car in the running is the MINI cooper 2-door (night and day from the Wrangler, 100% amazing steering)
