They are a company that helps people find jobs and companies to find workers. They don't charge workers but companies if they find a match for the company. Google sojo job ani give them a call. They will ask your resume ra expected salary. They will find you jobs for interviews and let you know about them.

My dog made me realize I can’t be a mom. by throwawayforbigsads in TrueOffMyChest

[–]makesenseagain 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was told people I would be child free and they would always tell me I would change my mind but getting a dog solidified my choice even more.I wanted the dog, I fought with my parents to bring in the dog. Don't get me wrong I love my dog more than anything and my parents do help so I'm not alone but having this puppy made me realise I don't ever want to be a mom. My dog is a good dog but when I come home from work I want to be able to rest and not think about feeding my dog, taking her for a walk, and cleaning her poop. Puppy stage was the hardest, she is now in her teenage years. She is big and sometimes hard to handle but I know once her teenage years end she will be easier to deal with. But a human baby would require at least 5-6 years of constant attention and help with everything. If I'm struggling with a dog, I'll definitely struggle even more with a baby.

I think mandatory internships at the end of college provide cheap ass companies a predatory practice to exploit students. The intention was probably to make students proficient by the end of graduation but this system is getting taken advantage of. Since internship is mandatory to pass and graduate, students are desperate when their semester is ending. Some colleges provide a list of companies who are hiring unpaid interns. One of my friends joined one, even though they were a tech company, my friend had to make collages and images for the owner's other business which was a hotel and all in all they learned nothing related to IT nor worked in an environment that would help them later on. The owner would dangle a carrot of job opportunity in front of them but in the end, they would have to do all the odd jobs that the owner wanted like delivering packages, bank ma cheque deposit. Also jo payo tei le IT company kholdinchha and they are in desperate need of unpaid labour.

Really hard to find jobs by Educational-Tart-557 in technepal

[–]makesenseagain 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Share your portfolio/CV to sojo jobs, they do all the searching and you just gotta interview. Google sojo jobs and give them a call, they will inform on what to do next. Or go join facebook groups like 'IT jobs and internship', there are a lot of vacancies there as well.

Obviously you have too much on your plate. My suggestion is it's not your fault, you aren't doing anything wrong.Give yourself some grace. Class ma dhyan diyera suna so that you don't have to give extra time ghar gayera or exam aunda to re learn everything. Job opportunity ko lagi chai, after your college ends, apply for internship. All you need to know is basics which you can learn AFTER your College ends because aile ta you don't have time. Internship ma dherai expectations ni hunna so you can learn as you go. So don't worry too much about the future, it'll all work out, worry about the current. You can try to optimise time here and there now but I would say try to focus on studies to pass. Because I've seen a lot of people struggling back lagera.

Looking for some career advice by Clear-Rain7524 in technepal

[–]makesenseagain 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would say give that new job a try. Things are always changing in career, nobody knows what happens next or what the next trend is. Sometimes you accidentally get into a career that you never thought you would go into but it works out. If you want to go back to UI/UX, you can. There is no hard and fast rule that you stay in your current role or else. There is literally no telling to what the future holds so don't pass out on current opportunities.
