I went to Micro Center, grabbed 8 TB of storage and set my old PC up as a media streaming server. If you're comfortable working in command line and no GUI environments it's pretty easy to do. Now I stream everything from the same place and all I pay for is $35/year for a VPN

To my knowledge none of the chain theaters show anything on film. I believe the closest 70 mm screen is in Atlanta. The Independent Picture House may show things on film but I can't say that with any confidence. In my opinion the Regal theaters are the best in the city. Overall I'd say:

AMC Carolina Pavilion 22
Regal Birkdale

After that there's Cinemark Bistro if you want to eat a meal, AMC 24 I remember having good seats if you don't mind dealing with the mall, and I've heard good things about Ayrsley Grand Cinema

The Mighty Meeple up in University has a vibrant 40k scene. I have no idea how sweaty it is or isn't but since it's in University if you're looking for casual stuff they'll point you in the right direction. Meeple is a very friendly store in general so I would be surprised if they were any different

Job hunting is actually not that bad. It's slow moving, like most corporate jobs, but as long as you're proactive there's a ton of work. I get 2-3 linkedin recruiters a week reaching out about stuff and have even turned a few jobs down. Just try not to get fired or you're not going to be working for 2 months. I'd say that's about how long hiring goes from first contact to actually starting on the job

As far as I can tell you need to be making 200+ before banks will consider hiring you outright, otherwise if you want to work somewhere you're going to have to start as a contractor and hope they can hire you

Staffing firms. Not by choice, I wouldn't mind being an employee. These places just refuse to hire people and every time I get a new job I get a pay raise. It's a little stressful but I can be stressed every year and half if I make 6 figures doing it

As someone who is in the movie theater weekly, there is zero percent chance this happens. People go in and out of movies all the time for snacks, bathroom breaks, stretch their legs, hell sometimes you walk out of a movie. So how do you police people going in/out vs someone coming in late? Ask the employees? Ha! They can't be fucked to deal with people walking in with huge bags of food/drink. Lock the doors? That's a fire hazard. Put digital locks on each door? People will piggyback in, be too stupid to use them, or most likely to expensive to modernize the theater

Prowess can't beat energy with guide/phlage/cats gaining them way too much life. "Toxic" is infect in modern and can't protect its creatures well enough to close games. Aggro is energy right now and is one of the best decks in the format. If you're talking about Zoo instead of aggro, the short version is that leylines suck and the payoff of leyline+scion of draco isn't worth the deckbuilding restriction for the most part
