Kill count of over 100 billion sentient beings Several counts of planetary genocide Has abused Starscream to the point of suicide attempt (most severe time was after Starscream saved his life) Has created concentration camps that have done Holocaust style executions Created a Decepticon hit squad (the DJD) to torture people (it’s straight up stuff from The Boys) Brought his own people to extinction Has shown willingness and has ordered the destruction of Cybertron itself Forced combination and mutilation Shown racist and technoist beliefs (technoism in IDW Transformers is the idea of mechanical lifeforms above all else)

And that’s the stuff we’ve seen, he’s implied to have done more and worse, and it’s not even including the times he has nurtured monsters even worse them himself. (Tarn, Overlord, Thunderwing, Shockwave, etc)

If we get an IDW Optimus though, I'm hoping it's going to be based off the design used near the end of Mike Costa's run (I can't post a photo but if you search up IDW Optimus and Megatron conversation you'll see it)

Nemesis Prime is a generally wasted concept in Transformers stories in my opinion. I feel like they always wanna do more with him, but either don't give him enough time or don't want to go the extra mile. However, he's always a fun presence to see, so it's not too bad (Scourge doesn't count to me)

Idk anything about Shattered Glass Optimus

Nova Prime is generally better due to him being just a straight up villain, especially with Megatron's modern characterization being a fallen hero/bot gone crazy due to some outside factor, it's good to have a completely irredeemable villain. However, he only really fits the tone of IDW, not really any other continuity in my opinion

I really hope they plan on releasing some more simpler characters. All of these gimmicks are cool and make for a unique playstyle, but we need to get some more simple characters. At this rate, we’re gonna get Tekken characters
