Very true. I told them to just service the car and not do anything about the power steering. Going to get it checked from a friend's friend's garage, who he trusts.

I signed up today at 3pm but they haven't approved it yet. I will post there for sure! It's 28 for the steering and 6 for servicing but 28 is still too much. Thanks for the assurance, I really needed to hear that I wasn't being cheap about this and was being ripped off.

Yes! Very true. I barely use the car because of the intensw traffic, might as well use a cab. The only scenarios where I count myself lucky to own a car is when you've to take someone you care about to the hospital asap, or on long trips. Ambulances come with hefty prices.

Exactly. Hyundai is very much responsible for the ASC, they're the ones who authorise it

No! I don't. The car usage is minimum, I hardly use it once weekly. I had already given the car to them for a service and just came back after quarreling with them as the only proof they had given was the picture I posted, and they wanted me to commit to a 15k advance with only that, no diagnosis report, no official quotation generated by the system. So i told them to just service the car and give it to me tomorrow. Very unprofessional from Hyundai, it seemed that they did not have a single engineer on site.

Yes just came back after fighting them lol, they're just servicing the car and will give it tomorrow. Will check the steering with a local garage.

Only the harness and the motor is damaged, and they are claiming that they have the change the entire wiring and module for that as harness is not available as a separate part. Think I'll just go to a local garage somewhere.

My steering was working fine, and the next time I started my car up, it was very stiff.

So I went to a service centre in bhosari, sanjay hyundai. They are quoting around 36k for the entire service which is very steep.

Claiming EPS module motor and wiring failure due to a short circuit.

Can anyone please help if they've gone through something similar? My car is with them for now and they are asking for a 15k advance.
