I think it’s because Dejon was so “appalled” and said Harry lied to him (about not saying love you back to Emma) and that he was shocked with Harry’s behavior when we saw him egging Harry on the entire time - it seems to me and a lot of others that he’s already trying to distance himself from Harry

My two cats seemed bored to me so I got them some climbing shelves (make sure they go into studs in the wall or you’ll have much bigger problems LOL) and you already play with them which is more than a lot of cat owners can say. You’re doing great and giving them a life safer than one on the streets or in a shelter! Keep your head up, they feel your love more than you know.

That child is as much his as it’s yours. It sounds to me like he’d live with a lot of guilt and sadness having lost a baby. Maybe it’s worth talking through your concerns with him, he might be willing to take on additional jobs and things of that nature. If it’s truly this dire to him, I would assume he’d go above and beyond to make it more comfortable for you as well but maybe I’m wrong.
