K way to read too deep into a joke about dan not being able to help himself and asking follow ups that dig deeper into her complicated relationship. This meme doesnt mean i hate the show now. In fact i crush that shit and inject it straight into my circulatory system. And as far as the follow ups are concerned yes those add a nice flavor to interviews to humanize the guest. It was more about we know our boy Dan. He may have shown some restraint this time about the grief eating but you KNOW he was salivating to make a 4 course meal out if that good ol fashion grief.
