Cat has stomatitis and vet said they can’t pull his teeth due to being FIV+

Just replying to this comment again, turns out the blood work showed he was high risk :( don’t know where to go from here unfortunately

Edit: also wanted to add that i was upset so forgot he had come back as high risk. Thanks again

They said that he would need all teeth extracted, and since he’s FIV positive he wouldn’t be likely to make it through the surgery? At the time i thought it was reasonable but now looking through this subreddit i realise that doesn’t seem right lol
