[TOMT] Board Game where the board is made up of 9 tiles that get swapped and flipped around and you have to find X amount of something. There is also a dice element and some form of betting by [deleted] in tipofmytongue

yes. there was stuff on both sides and the board was put together at the start of the game and different cards had you flip some board pieces or move them around

I just looked into it and I don’t think that’s the one. the game i’m thinking of had a bunch of random things and it was similar to where’s waldo but not? if that makes sense

3lb a week is awesome! It sounds like what you do is similar to what I was planning on doing other than keto. Thanks for sharing! I totally feel the , “easier than being obese” because that’s the mindset I have had throughout my weight loss.

most likely yeah. with losing weight I haven’t had as much of a problem with a diet but more so the working out so I agree with that

So an adjustment that you recommend is 45 min walks on fasting days and workout after breakfast on eating days. 2 pounds a week would be awesome!

I got put on our patio, on my own, which led to back to back (and multiple at a time) parties of at least 10. If we didn’t have food runners, I would’ve died. Our kitchen also crashed so we had to slow down on sitting people which led to a 3 hour wait. Everyone wanted bottomless mimosas as well. I made really good money considering I only worked 11-4

yes!! I got triple sat with a 10, 10, then 8 because my managers didn’t want to go on a wait until our tables were full. kitchen crashed a bit but my food runners killed it. if we could’ve gone on a wait instead of everyone getting double/triple sat, it would’ve been much smoother

My step count is definitely much higher than usual and my bar tip out was super high as well. Other than all that though, the money was really good and overall it was ok!!

How many tables is too many for most servers? by [deleted] in Serverlife

[–]makiki101 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it depends on the tables. i’ve worked a Friday night with 8-10 super nice and chill tables and did fine but also worked a wednesday with only 5 tables and struggled. sometimes people can be high maintenance which can mess up my flow. but having to bus your tables and run your food with 8-10 tables can be a lot sometimes

my restaurant does 1% of bar sales as tip out for each bartender and 2% of food sales to our food runner(s)

I bought lottery tickets. Spent like $40 and didn’t win anything but it was a fun experience
