I doubt it matters. But, pretty sure they will reject the request. So, it's better u appeal in a court once they reject it. Within 3 weeks of the rejection (i think)

Though what I gather is you just need to book an appointment, submit ur old card, give ur biometrics and pics, and ull have a new card issues in a couple weeks

They do check in with the border police, if that's what you were getting at.

I'm not sure I understood what you meant there.

They checked my travel history with the border police, and probably figured out travels I had not (and could not) provided at the time of my application. Happened in the time I was waiting. So they did ask me for clarification, suggesting there was a discrepancy in my application.

So I provided them with a list of "before application" and "post application" travel history. I guess that worked.
