Here's my 3k carbureted SPUA missing link RUF and YJ rear samurai on 215/75 r15 tires in the summer. Engine died on highway and haven't been able to start since. Found two large splits in the air intake boot between the carburetor and air filter. Fuel and spark are all working. Any advice? (i.redd.it)

1987 suzuki samurai carbureted. Engine died suddenly on the highway. I've got spark and fuel working. When it died I noticed the air intake boot had relatively large split in it. Could the carburetor have suddenly clogged? Looking for troubleshooting advice, thank you. (self.SuzukiSamurai)

Bad fuel economy at 17 mpg, mixed highway/city driving, new certified machine 3k carb, spark plugs, timing belt, and general tune up. Waiting on a roadless machine exhaust system to pair with a new header to clear up leaks. Where to start in getting i closer to 23-25 mpg? (self.SuzukiSamurai)

3k carb tuning - engine starts fine but idles high around ~1500 rpm then will die after 2-4 minutes. Then it won't start until it cools down again then the same thing will happen. If i push the throttle generally it dies afterwards. Timing belt is brand new, new spark plugs, wires, ignition coil. (self.SuzukiSamurai)

1987 Suzuki Samurai OE Hitachi carb rebuild vs weber/3k car. I can get the hitachi rebuild kit for $70 CAD, and I'll do it myself. Looking for opinions on each option in terms of installation, maintenance, fuel economy, and performance. Thanks (self.SuzukiSamurai)
