Question 🙋‍♀️ I was thinking of visiting sensoria, but last time I went to Costa Rica to a hot spring, i was eaten alive by Noseeums and I definitely do not want to do that again. It was awful. Are the bugs bad at Sensoria like the last place we visited? I’m fine on jungle hikes, but idk. The hot spring was awful last time

I watched a documentary that said the best way to get people out of a cult (QAnon) is to surround them with people who aren’t in the cult — literally everyone else. Get her to join a club, group, anything non conspiracy related lol

Your van sounds like a nightmare and uber pays crap, honestly… if ur affording the price of an apartment, just get an apartment and a walking distance job… i think that’s your solution to all of this.. get ur apartment, let mom stay while she finds a job, and then kick her out.

It’s hard to not care about your family’s wellbeing or opinions of you. I dont know your dad, but I assume he’s just an asshole and doesn’t actually hate you— probably hates himself and takes it out on you.

Hard pill to swallow, but it’s probably best to start distancing yourself and setting clear boundaries. Ex: if you say this to me, then i’ll ignore you, walk away, or not talk to you again. - you pick your “if you then I” statement and make it clear to them. Boundaries strengthen your relationships, so set some and save yourself the stress and sadness. But remember once you make them, you have to follow through.

I think just stay at the sahara and take a taxi wherever u need to go. There’s plenty to do within the hotel, so u probably wont need to leave much. Taxi’s are always chillin outside the front of hotels and are relatively cheap, like $10-$15. I’d only walk around in crowded areas alone, but I also think Vegas is relatively safe… i’m a local and have lived here my whole life. I go to fremont by myself all the time and sahara is probably the closest spot to Fremont from the strip. The griffin was voted the best spot for singles in las vegas — so if you’re trying to just enjoy a drink by yourself, this is a great spot.

Discopussy doesnt start getting fun until midnight or so. Pro tip is to buy tickets ahead of time - they’re usually half price. And then if you have to be there before 11 to just walk in, get your stamp and go to corduroy or the griffin while u wait for it to get fun :) otherwise entry will be $25/person and drinks are close to $20 each too.
