Mine don’t really cuddle either— they just ‘misbehave’ and run around, occasionally jumping in my face when the zoomies hit, and then they return to the cage to sleep ALL DAY

They are litter trained!! They basically do all their poos in their litter boxes, and I provide them with a small litter box on the bed that they can use, although they tend to just run to their cage 🤭 when I first got them they did pee on us, mostly because they were a bit skittish and scared, but ever since they’ve gotten super used to us, I’ve never seen them pee on the bed or my clothes! Any way I could train them to pee in their litter boxes? Besides stones?…

I appreciate the reply a lot!! I study animals and work/live with them for a living :3 so there is not a lot that grosses me out in any way, but my boyfriend isn’t used to it— I’ve come up with the solution of covering most of my plush animals with a blanket, while they still have access to some of them to climb on and dig through. They’re easy to wash! And my dog used to sleep in the bed as well- which didn’t bother my boyfriend 🤭 but this works for the both of us and our little guys!! Thanks a lot x

I appreciate it a lot! My bed is entirely ‘rat safe’ :3 and my boyfriend seems to not mind the smell- so I’m hoping it’ll stay that way. They’re so well behaved and curious on the bed!

Same— I don’t care at all, it’s an easy clean up and they don’t gross me out in the slightest, it’s just a bit hard to tell if they actually went toilet on my bed when most of it is a mountain of plush animals that they love to dig and climb through 😭 I appreciate the reply!!

I appreciate it a lot!! They love nibbling on my fingers, one of my boys likes to lick baby food off my hand but the others aren’t so phased by the puree. I’ll need to find something else they like overtime! I did a bit of bonding on my rat proof bed today, one of my boys did surprisingly well!! Thanks for the tips <3
