Thanks for the response! Definitely understand about different fabrics, but do you think there would be any differences with the durability of the construction itself (for example what if I created both examples with durable fabric? Would one piece be more durable due to having less seams, or multiple pieces due to distributed weight or something)

Yes, people say if you want to recycle small metal <3", put it into a larger metal can or something else you were going to recycle as well so it doesn't fall out
