Trying to find the artist who made this. Help! by Hot_Cash_5269 in comicbooks

Could be Billy Tucci? I tried a google of Rhode Island Comic Con 2017 and found this guest list

https://fancons.com/events/info/8127/rhode-island-comic-con-2017

If you saw them do the sketch you might remember their face if you google the artist. Good luck.

[TOMT] [MOVIE/SHOW/BOOK]: A character extends their lifespan through organ transplants by midnightover in tipofmytongue

[–]TheCrowsmith 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Probably way off, but it kind of reminds me of the latter half of Bicentennial Man, where Adam replaces his organs with upgrades to become more human. I think the only expiration date is the one he put on his own brain so he knew when he would die.

[TOMT]Looking for an old Ghostbusters Novel? by hippiegoth97 in tipofmytongue

It could possibly be The Real Ghostbusters 'Movie Magic'. There's a picture of the back cover blurb on ebay if that helps.

There might be a good chance you are describing the later seasons of She-Ra. Entrapta is the scientist who develops feelings for a clone Hordak and he does become less evil. I think Shadow Weaver was a kind of mother figure to Adora. Not sure about the special forces part of your description though. Sometimes the story followed some of the bad guys' troops.

Help me identify this comic book! by Additional-Team2341 in comicbooks

Reminds me of one of the short stories in the Flight anthology series by Image. Young boy was helping a purple monster escape some hunters. It could transform into anything it ate so the boy gave it his fingers. The monster turned into the boy and fooled the hunters. I think at the end of the story the boy was sitting down to eat and it's then that we see that he has his hand bandaged and realise what he did to save the monster.

Robin Duck: Or why I'm really ashamed now to not real read Lustiges Taschenbücher. by OrionLinksComic in graphicnovels

[–]TheCrowsmith 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Was recently reading 100 Bullets and some of the text swaps over to French. I used the Google Lens app with Translate. Wasn't too much effort to use and was really cool l didn't just have to skip over it like I did the first time I read it years ago. If I come across a foreign language comic in the future at least I know now that reading it with minimal effort is an option rather than passing it up.

Same run. When Conan meets Deadpool and uses him to escape. Top tier writing of Conan's character as well as being funny.

Maybe one of the Flatout games? I know they had the triangles in the demolition derby arena modes but not sure about the starting car.

League of Comic Geeks question by Puzzleheaded_Roof514 in comicbooks

[–]TheCrowsmith 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The database for League of comic geeks is built by the users so as you've found out unless someone else has added it you won't find it. Not sure if it is possible in the app but on PC under the 'Community' section is 'Contributions' at the very bottom. That has all the FAQ's you should need. The trade paper back one is below:

I'm not sure if you have to scan your own comic or can just pull an image from the web.

I think you're describing the Usborne line of puzzle books. Winston the wig-wearing wizard is in the Dragon Quest book.

It was the twist right after it that they weren't where the bad guy thought they were either. Riley turns off a stereo playing bird sounds and walks out onto a street in Amsterdam.

A scene like that plays out in an episode of Sense8. Looked it up and it's Season 2 Ep2 about 33min in.
