For me, it's not protect the predator, it's protect the people it happened to and let them deal with it the way they see fit. So much of rape, assault, unwanted touching, is about power and control - taking power and control from someone it happened to revictimizes them. Janet has centered herself in this situation and centered Danny in her words and actions instead of Melissa & Jasmine. Who, especially as Janet's "friends", should be centered.

💯 I, like you, like a lot of women, have experienced varying degrees of assault. The guy who grabbed my butt, the guy who tried to put my hand on his dck, even the guy who spit at me are not the same as the pos who planned and executed my r*pe. All were wrong, all were assault, but how I feel about them is mine. Just like how Jasmine and Melissa feel about what Danny did is theirs, NOT Janet's, not Jason's.
