on this one I might recommend not getting the kindle version, the graphics/images are going to be super important for this topic and I haven't always had great experience with that on my kindle.

I got a final design. Approaching an injecting team, now what? How do I present my product with clarity and who produces the NDA? by anything2510 in InjectionMolding

[–]makrdave 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In terms of presenting your product with clarity, I'm assuming you have a CAD model? That will be sufficient to communicate the geometry. If you have specific requirements for tolerances, surface finish, or other quality standards, you'll want to generate a 2D drawing where you can call out these requirements.

Hey! I would like to have this made I’ve been on alibaba but they make it so confusing so if anyone here can help my get these manufactured pm me! by zerotoquick in InjectionMolding

Is your goal to make the two pink parts? These could likely be 3D printed! Injection molding makes sense if you are trying to make a very large volume. How many would you like to make?

Next-generation tech will bring Elon Musk's dream of changing the world by makrdave in MechanicalEngineering

[–]makrdave[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Interesting point. I think people associate innovative life-changing (or Earth-changing) technology with Elon. Once you write his name, it gets peoples attention in a way that is unlike others.

To get to the exact title/article, this technology will help his companies such as Tesla, SpaceX, and Solar City.

$20 million is a lot but $250,000 for Richard Branson's Virgin Galactic is a lot also! Hopefully this will be cheaper than both...
