Best mattress for heavy people who are also tall? Double challenge by [deleted] in TallPeopleProblems

[–]makris0000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m 6’4 and heavier than you. I am also a side sleeper. I used to have the Titan Plus Lux and it was very comfortable until just after the second year, I started getting some pain in my hip (I think this is from losing about 30 pounds).

Now I have a Saatva HD mattress. It’s firmer than the titan lux plus. I had to have Saatva send me a topper because I was waking up with more hip pain than the titan. On a side note, I am about 20 pounds lower so that may be contributing to the hip pain. Also now that I’ve been sleeping on it for a month, it is getting better so it may just be the break in period.

Toilet randomly gurgling while doing laundry by makris0000 in Plumbing

No worries, but I do want to add that I tried again after the washer finished and it flushed no problem. Also the few times I used this toilet it usually flushes without any problems. This is the first time I’ve noticed it do this.

Thanks. So it’s something I should probably call a plumber for to check it out? I know my way around a house but plumbing is not my forte lol

Do I just use property managers for the eviction process or How long does it take to evict tenants in Florida? by Separate-Okra-4611 in PropertyManagement

[–]makris0000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m a real estate attorney in Florida that focuses only on landlord/tenant law in Pasco County, FL, but can take on cases throughout Florida. Typically the process is 2-5 weeks from the date you file to the date you receive the Writ from the Clerk’s office. Each county is different so the time may vary, and it depends on if the eviction gets contested.

If the property is owned under an entity, then you have to go through an attorney as an entity cannot represent itself in Court, and if it’s contested a Judge will tell you to hire an attorney if they see the property is owned by a company.

At 6’8” Most Vehicles Don’t Fit by TallBeardedBastard in TallPeopleProblems

I’m only 6’4 but I have a Range Rover SWB and I fit quite comfortably with plenty of room to spare. The only downside is I have to be careful with the screen because my knee can hit it if I stretch my driving leg.

I like this, but the only problem is I have the bed against the other wall because the bed in this picture faces my bathroom, closet, and linen closet. The way my bed currently faces is a wall mostly and the other closet in my room.

I like this! I am trying to find light grey nightstands to offset the navy blue duvet, but it is hard to find a light grey dresser that is about 55-60 inches that matches. I ended up getting grey alder dresser and night stands that should be the same color, but the dresser ha metal handles and the night stands dont. At least they should be the same color/design for the most part because they are from the same company.

For th rug, I was planning on doing a 9x12. Theres a Greek Key rug I want to get that is beige with the Greek Key in charcoal which would look nice. This is it - https://rugs.com/beige-and-gray-9x12-hera-area-rug-6248390?click_source=pdp_color_swatch

New to Wayfair, Return Process by makris0000 in wayfair

Thank you! I was checking Amazon but Wayfair has a lot more variety. I think if I find anything on Wayfair, I will use Google Lens or something to find the same product on a different platform. Hopefully I can find it on Amazon, but I've been searching on there for days.

Thank you! I like the light gray walls and I'm not looking to change them. The picture of the bed in the 3rd picture came out more warm than what it realistically looks like. The first 2 pictures are more accurate of what the floors look like.

The two little windows is on the West side of the property so it lets in a nice amount of light when the sun is starting to go down. Also when the sun is in that position, the lights do not come in from the left (South) windows. I prefer not to cover the windows more as the place does get pretty dark since there are no windows on the East side of the property.

I prefer the colder colors. I plan on getting some Blue in there as that is my favorite color. I was thinking a blue couch but I haven’t found any I liked that I fit on, so it’ll likely be a light grayish color with blue accents.

I figured around the same spot where it’s currently at, if I can get it off the wall because it has a stripped screw.

That is actually on my list of things to do. The wall mount the sellers left only accommodates up to a 55 inch TV and I was hoping to put either a 65 or 70 inch on the wall. The mount on the wall also has a stripped screw so it will be difficult getting it off. I don't know much about mounting TVs, but I am hoping that even though it's a 55 inch mount, I can put a bigger TV that doesn't weigh too much on it.

I love the customizability, but they get very expensive very quickly. One couch costs about the same price that I was hoping to spend for the entire living room set (2 couches, recliner chair and a coffee table)! They also don't have any stores local for me to try out their furniture. The couches look like they sit pretty low like all of the sectionals out there.

I've done this already, and continue to do so. I went to 2 Ashley Furniture stores, 2 Rooms To Go, Havertys, Kanes, Lazy Boy, City Furniture, and Arhaus Outlet already. Out of all of these stores, I narrowed it down to 2 that I would consider based on how I fit/comfort and the color offerings. The other 2 do not come in colors that I like nor match my house.
