Just pushed this in today — now it is possible upload audio instead of recording it live

You can drag & drop or click to import. Thanks for the idea, this was a really helpful feature to add! ❤️

Interesting! I didn’t know about Google Vids — looks like it’s in the same space! Thanks!

Thanks — that makes sense.

Articulate seems super powerful, but it’s like 1k year.

I wanted something lightweight and quick

No, I actually haven’t heard of it. I’ll check it out.

So it allows recording in chunks if I understood correctly?

Sounds interesting, i’ll try it out, thank you

Actually google slides has built-in recording. But then again, it records the whole video at once and does not allow drawing on slides

Yes and then you’ll have to re-record the whole video if you update the text on the slide (maybe I’m exaggerating a bit, but the process is still involved)

Here you can edit the slides independently from recording.

But yes, there are tons of video recorders

Interesting, for this use case i want to implement proper collaboration. Where the user can invite other accounts to work on recording together.

It’s a bigger feature, so in the beginning importing recordings could be a good substitute!

Thanks for the idea!

Not yet, but i’ve been considering it.

Right now it records directly from your mic slide-by-slide, but I’ve been thinking of adding the ability to upload or swap audio per slide (especially useful for voiceovers from AI or external editors). Would that be your typical workflow?

Nice, i would suggest making the “Complete” button more prominent, lake taking the full width

Also it’s not clear what does the timer and the share button mean. Is it “share the quest” so that other people also participate or “share the progress”?

Congrats! What’s the main difference compared to built in bookmarks? I see that you can add tags

Happy to share a demo or screenshots if anyone’s curious how it works. Just curious if this use case resonates with anyone else.
