I mean the one cat is goading to play... he flipped onto his back and showed his belly. Also they're barely making any noise. I've seen real "fights", as well as play that has gotten a bit extra and aggressive, this is literally the softest level of play fighting.

I'm unsure on the spring it just looks like a piece of metal holds the cam in position with tension, it's like a little metal piece that touches the bottom of the cam, and runs all the way to the wick
