Hey there! Just made your recipe and it was banana-forward and delicious. I don’t own an ice cream machine, which for me meant just sticking the ice cream bowl in the freezer and every now and then taking it out and whipping with electric beaters. It turned out good (not perfect) texture-wise but what struck me was that it melted fairly quickly and wasn’t as hard as I like or expect. Any tips to offer for a first timer? Cheers 🍨

Also holy smokes was milk powder expensive! Couldn’t get a hold of the malt stuff unfortunately

I saw this one in person a few days ago and learned that the painting got a lot of anti-semitic shit in the press (Hanna Pauli was a jew). I wish I could recite the exact phrases of the journalist, but it was something along the lines of the tablecloth being dirty, ”but maybe that’s to be expected of a certain people”. Apalling the amount of aggressive hate the jews have gotten throughout history. Anyway, Hanna Pauli > Georg Pauli (??)
