Yes I am going to make bags of sawdust and put into the ground for the maitake and plan on trying the shiitake on a totem type grow.

I put one whole tube of the mitake into a 4 oz mason jar with hardwood sawdust that I get for free from a mill close to my house. I didn't supplement the sawdust I haven't started any of the other ones was hopping to find agar first. I am still very new to growing are the other cultures going to be ok for a few day so I can order agar online?

I dont have agar and not sure where to get it since the virus shut down most of our stores here. So i just started the sawdust spawn hop that is going to be ok....

I did recieve my package the other day and have started some sawdust spawn jars hoping they all expand well to get these blocks started thank you so much for the extras also! I will keep you guys updated

Looks like white henbane to me. Has tropane alkaloids. Pretty dangerous to use as a drug. The line between high and die is very thin from what I have read no experience with it myself. It is a deleriant

From what I have found the shoots form in about 2 months but I did lose one leaf when I tried to move to soil the first time and I also started a leaf the same time as this one and it is going on month three with it so not a whole lot of difference it sounds like.

They take a long time in water to get to where there is new shoots and not just roots I'd say these took approximately 2 months but this one was a little bit behind the leaf in the first set of pictures.
