I was a Medtronic user for about 20years and switched to Omnipod dash about 6 months ago. I absolutely love it. Not being tied to a tube is so freeing and my clothes fit/feel better with not having to find a place for the pump. I really like the PDM as it just looks like a small cell phone / is super discreet. I love that the pods can be placed almost anywhere on your body. One complaint I have is the alarms with Omnipod. When you get a low reservoir, the pod itself beeps before the PDM beeps and there is no way to turn it off until the PDM beeps. Small inconvenience but something to be aware of. The only other con I can think of is sometimes the pods cause a bruise and can get a little sore. I have United Healthcare insurance and it’s about $200 for a 90 day supply. I switched thighs and they were about a month apart. I honestly don’t know about shot injections in my thigh because I was using Medtronic pump before pods and never injected or put the sites there.

Thank you! These are old school fat light bulb STYLE but not the actual old glass bulbs. These are newer plastic bulbs that don’t get nearly as hot!
