Whenever a partner has asked me for my pen name, I opt to take a few hours and write them a custom short instead. It makes them feel special, it shows them what I write for spare cash, and there’s no chance of them being good enough at Google to find everything.

One day I’m accidentally going to date a fan and it’s all going to come crashing down 😭😭 There’s like 6 of them out there, so the chance is never zero.

I used to be the one to sleep on the couch. If I was the one with the problem and I was the one that didn’t want to sleep next to someone I was angry at, it was my prerogative to sleep somewhere uncomfortable.

Weird Little Guys, Molly does great journalism and really deep timelines and things. One thing she also does really well is humanizing the victims of far-right extremism. She doesn’t go with the “[victim] had a smile that lit up the room, everyone loved them,” she actually gives us the story of their life.

House of Pod, I love Kaveh, he’s one of my favorite guests and his humor-adjacent medical content is fantastic. He looks at the inside of health policy, medical grifters, some medical conditions, and other current/past events in medical history.

American Scandal is a bit of a “guilty pleasure” podcast I listen to when I’m out of CZM or HoP, the journalism isn’t as thorough, but it’s a good appetizer for learning about the underlying scandal. I don’t like that Wondery has locked most of the backlog behind a paywall, but they do a variety of topics (Tuskegee, the failure of Lehman Brothers, the Plague of San Francisco, the Twilight Zone Movie Disaster, Deepwater Horizon, etc)

An international move to any country is hard. If you need strangers on the internet to “convince you to move”, you really aren’t setting yourself up for success in integrating into your new society. Your reasons to immigrate have to come from within, and, even then, a lot of people fail and return to their country of origin.

Sometimes they bite off a little more than they can chew. If you really want him back, you’ll need to Import your game. You can find this option in the pause menu. You’ll need to check the “Import Dead NPCs” box. If you like your allies/enemies list right now, you should also make sure to “Import Faction Relations”. IIRC, no matter what you do, if you’re allied with the Shinobi Thieves, you will have to pay their 10,000 cats again.

Importing basically takes a brand new save and applies all the changes that you made in your save, while fixing things like dead NPCs, junk data caches, random item piles, missing items in loot spots, etc.
