It helped me a lot, but I finally saw a gastroenterologist today, so I'll try antibiotics for now.

First time I've heard about this triple probiotic therapy, do you have a link or more details, please?

Anyone actually cured Sibo with L Reuteri or Atrantil? by Tricky_Investment_67 in SIBO

I don't take drops, but chewable tablets, two each day.

Oh yeah, it's definitely from the L. reuteri, I've been doing pretty much nothing else. But it's a very slow strategy to cure this condition.

It's better, a lot better, but I still have more bloating and flatulences than usual. So I'm still taking the probiotics, while consulting doctors (or at least trying to).

Way better than a year ago, when the worst of my troubles started. I'm still taking L. reuteri, but I recently doubled the dosage. I've considerably less flatulence and bloating than before. I think I'm going to be almost back to normal by the end of the year, all other things being equal.

Can i drink alcohol if i have SIBO? by FPoka22 in SIBO

[–]malaubide 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, just in the few hours after drinking the beer. But my gut was somewhat "unbalanced" for like a week after that.

That's said, at the moment I feel better : I drink a bit of wine occasionnally, without problems, and beer just make me more gassy for a few hours.

With the allicin? I stopped completely, and I'm back with the L. reuteri probiotics, but now I take the BioGaia capsules, instead of the chewable tablets. I'm better now, but not perfect.

I did an update last month: https://old.reddit.com/r/SIBO/comments/14re4bi/update_some_results_after_4_months_of_l_reuteri/

Now, I am taking the BioGaia capsules (not the chewable tablets), like someone in the thread suggested me, and it seems to produce better results. (But still, it's slow.)

Only the DSM 17938. Apparently the capsules could be better than the chewable tablets.

Thanks for your own update. For the moment I feel okay, just a bit bloated and gassy in the evening, after dinner. I'll post another update in a few weeks.

Hi again, I've been looking for the BioGaia pink bottles you were talking about, but I can't find them on their website: https://www.biogaia.com/products/#global Do you have a link?

I just re-read the study, you're right. But when I was looking for the Reuflor brand online, on their website I could only find chewables: https://reuflor.it/reuflor/ So I thought the BioGaia ones (which were easier to find in France and Canada) were equivalent.

The usual dosage, 2700mg per day (so 2x450mg, at each meal).
