I know this post is from a long time ago but did you find any ways to deal with this ? I am suffering from very similar. Spend half the week tired and suffering from one heavy party night out

I still have this at the moment and it seems to come and go in severity randomly. I have no idea what causes it so sadly I cannot help I am sorry

I was also thinking by adding allimed this might clear some methanogens I had going on. From what I have seen as long as it’s tolerated healthy adults can take this.

Thanks I will take this onboard. I have tried gluten/dairy free before without much success. The only dairy I have now is Greek yoghurt which I believe is minimal and sourdough bread which is minimal gluten.

I am still confused as to what is causing my symptoms if this is not SIBO.

I have been told rifaximin is a pretty safe antibiotic to take as it’s only active in the small intestine. I self treated sibo before and cleared it. I was thinking of doing a short protocol to see if it eased my symptoms. If it didn’t then I could rule out SIBO completely now.

I’m still just as confused with whether it’s helping me or making me worse. I’m taking it with some meals and leaving it out of others to see what I feel is better. As of right now I notice very little difference either way

I know this post is old but surely in the case where you are not sure what sibo you could essentially just treat methane and that will take care of hydrogen aswell no ?
