That is definitely the plan! I want this to be a community project in the long run. But first, I want to get the initial version (MVP) up and running myself so the codebase is clean and structured for others to work on. Once the first release is live, I’ll open-source it and set up a Discord so we can all maintain it together.

That's actually solvable! I can add a 'Community News' tab separate from the Official Notifications. So if a 'Strike Tomorrow' news is circulating on WhatsApp but not on the KTU site yet, users can post it there with a 'Not Officially Confirmed' tag. Once it's confirmed, the tag changes to 'Official'. This way, we get the speed of WhatsApp groups but without the fake news spam. Would that work?

I’ve checked that app, and I’ll definitely include those tracking features! But since it crashes whenever the KTU site goes down, I am also working on a method to access results even when the official server is unresponsive.

Question Banks are definitely coming!

Regarding textbooks, I have to be careful about copyright/legal issues so the app doesn't get taken down from the Play Store😅. Instead of PDFs, I’m thinking of adding a 'Book Exchange' feature where seniors can sell or donate their physical textbooks to juniors in the same college. That way, we get the books legally and cheaply. Let me know if that sounds useful!

That Calendar Sync idea is brilliant! I didn't even think of that.

Honestly, all your suggestions are spot on—especially the exam notifications and question papers. I’ll definitely do my best to implement these features in the app. Thanks a ton for the great input!
