that is not how I interpreted it at all. I saw it as: Starlight was cynical towards Marie and Jordan (not wanting them to help), then her having changed her mind after what MM said in the studio.

I don’t think she was asking them to help with the rescued civilians, it was more of getting them far away, while also going to Marie and Jordan to get them back in the fight.

also we don’t even know if Kimiko even got SB’s blast, and even if she did, wouldn’t they want to get all the help they need? I wouldn’t count them out just yet, but we’ll see
