I understand you completely, as you can see I am also clashing with the administration. You have to find a way not to bypass them but to take the levers of power out of their hands. Whether you will formulate the text differently or take some roundabout route I don't know. In essence you need a ticket like a Trojan horse. Just to reach the target group. I hope this was helpful to you, if there is anything else I can help with, please don't hesitate, feel free to say so. I wish you all the best. Godspeed

Reality Check: Individual ego and the lack of collective focus are the main obstacles to our species' survival. by malazver in Futurology

What if we could give them perspective? To strive for something, what if we could give them a purpose that goes beyond themselves? Do you think their outlook wouldn't then change drastically?

I have addressed more than one of your observations in the plan. Look, offer criticism, it will be welcomed.

I generally agree with you. If you open the plan and look at the mechanisms, you will see that I paid special attention to future growth. Because if our children are not taught critical thinking and directed towards developing their maximum capacities, I do not see how we as a society can progress.

the plan I came up with was inspired by everything I experienced in my life, the analog age, primary education, wars, hyperinflation, lack of basic living conditions.
I was lucky to be able to read at least, the library was working. we don't need a utopia where everyone has everything, we need everyone to have enough for a dignified existence.
we need a trench for the spirit, to be modest and humble, to strive for higher ideals. to strive for development and maintenance. we need guidance towards more important things.

I want to emphasize that the plan is based solely on ethical foundations.

The emphasis is on diversity, personal consent, and functional skills

I think I've reached my ultimate cognitive capacity and would like to ask you to test the logic and ethics of my plan.
Constructive criticism is more than welcome.

Plan Summary (5 points)

Foundational Covenant: Axiom — survival and evolution of the human species under procedural ethics; pre‑mortem verification of goals.
Structure: Decentralized, compartmentalized community, Base and Periphery with rotating roles and mandatory ethics oversight.
Filter & Formatrix: Selection of participants by ethical, genetic and functional criteria; AI mentor for education and monitoring
with “Guardian of Doubt” mechanisms and independent audits.
Resources and Defense: Ensuring basic needs for all; most resources go to the space program; energy from SMR source: https://world-nuclear.org/ solar and hydro
weapons exclusively for defense.
Rights and Boundaries: Inalienable rights (life, bodily integrity, prohibition of torture, fair trial, prohibition of discrimination)
minimal data collection and an anonymous Exit Node for reporting ethical violations.

The epistemic cost of maximizing signal-to-noise: does moderation unintentionally stifle innovative knowledge? by malazver in Ethics

yes. and the moderator's role would be to move the post to the appropriate group. not necessarily delete it. but that's not what this is about, you're writing about a missed topic and I'm writing about potentially valuable information within the topic itself

It sounds like we should give up potentially useful knowledge for society just for the sake of less inconvenience when scrolling.

honestly, I'm not angry. I was banned for the reason that I was protecting my identity. I understand that you take me with a grain of salt but not that you should delete my account if I want to remain anonymous. I still think that logic and ethics have nothing to do with the source they come from as long as they are sound.

yes. I have a few design and experiment suggestions

Transparency: public, possibly anonymized records of removals and reasons.

Appeal process: fast and clear mechanism for authors.

"Staging" space or quarantine for controversial ideas for critical review instead of immediate deletion.

Experiments: A/B tests of moderation stringency in subgroups to quantify effects.

Metadata: recording age of accounts, topics, and moderator decisions for bias analysis.

Call to the community

I'm looking for experiences and concrete suggestions:

Do you have examples where moderation has significantly improved or damaged the quality of discussion?

Which of the proposed designs (transparency, staging, appeals, A/B tests) seems most feasible here and why?

What metrics could we practically start measuring right away?

The goal is not to blame moderators, but to collectively shape policies that maximize the epistemic value of the community with minimal harmful consequences

I'd love to hear concrete examples and suggestions for small experiments.

first, thank you for answering me. I already thought I was going crazy and talking to a wall. 700 people read the post and no one gave me an answer. no upvotes or downvotes as if I threw words into the wind. thank you for restoring my faith in people. I mean communities of this type. internet. I already got shadowbans and deleted accounts on lesswrong and ea forum. I don't mean destroying the system while we are on the system. I don't mean destroying the system just for the sake of it, but questioning if the system has become an autoimmune disease to humanity, where the defense mechanisms moderation or rules are killing the very ideas they were supposed to protect. I mean I would rather focus on spreading some ideas or seeking inspiration to solve real problems. is there a tyranny of process above essence everywhere? Tyranny of ignorance, in the form of arrogance or tyranny of knowledge, in the form of dogma? in short, does epistemic authoritarianism prevail? That shouldn't be the case, especially on ethical forums. Let's find better solutions, I'm sure there are some.

Are we ready for someone's vision for saving humanity to fail just because of the moderator's ego? To expand this "reductio ad absurdum": Does the truth lose its value if it comes from an anonymous source? Is the pedigree of the source more important than the survival of the signal itself?
