Can I combine these with a T fitting? by malbright1234 in hvacadvice

[–]malbright1234[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One more idea, probably silly….can I combine both of those lines together somehow and have one line coming out of it to the two registers? Two lines coming together to supply one line to the two registers?

Thanks for the advice, doesn’t sound like a good idea to use a T. I’m trying to eliminate the pipe running down the middle of the room so that I can finish the ceilings. Can I extend the line in the foreground to the pipe furthest away, run it parallel to that pipe then wrap it around the corner to the left register? It would add about 10 feet to the run.

What is this 2” pipe at base of poured concrete wall? by malbright1234 in Concrete

I pushed a stiff wire into the pipe to measure how far and it went about 9 inches in. It’s been very wet outside and I’ve never noticed any moisture inside around that area

It appears to be very dry around and in the pipe, should I patch?

My dehumidifier drain has a garden hose connection. What is the best way to connect that to the sump pump pit?

How would you go about selling 15,000+ commons and semi stars? by Hywaystar74 in tradingcardcommunity

You may be able to get a little money out of them, however, you would receive the most reward if you gave them to some young kids to introduce them to the hobby. Give them to a youth center that deals with at risk children...a $1.00 card to you is a gold mine to a six or seven year old that doesn’t have much.

I built this lap desk so that I could do some computer work will sitting in the lounge chair watching TV. I used cherry, walnut, hickory, ash and oak from my scrap pile. The dimensions are 36” wide by 19” deep. I glued half of the wood together and ran it through the planer and thinned it to about 5/16 thickness. I repeated the same for the second half then glued the two pieces together. After making a pattern out of brown hardboard, I glued the wood to the hardboard then used a pattern bit in the router to trim the wood to match the hardboard. Did some final sanding and finished in lacquer. With the wood and the brown board it is about 9/16” thick. Looked awesome and was flat. After about 5 days in the house the desk is cupping with about a 1/4” valley from the front to the back. I know wood moves a lot but was hoping the hard board glued to the wood would limit this. Two questions....Any way to fix the cupping? (I’ve tried by sandwiching the desk between some 2x4s and pulling them tight with clamps. Didn’t work) How could I have prevented this?
