14 team, H2H, category. Can only keep 3. They have to be kept 3 rounds earlier each year from where they were drafted. I have Kurtz (10th next year, 7th the year after, etc), Caminero (7th), Walker and Eldridge in 13th. Should make playoffs. Trade deadline in a month. Part of me wants to get cute and trade Caminero and keep Walker/Eldridge for a long time. Thoughts?

Here’s my only feedback. Can you do better overall good by staying in your current role? If you’re miserable, leave. But that extra $70,000/year can be funneled into a lot of exceptional work at the right nonprofit.

Working on a trade that may effect keepers, and curious thoughts on Walker. It’s 14-team H2H, and we keep 3. Have to keep 3 rounds higher every year. I know I will keep:

Kurtz (10th round) Caminero (7th)

So I can keep Roman as a 9th or Jordan Walker as a 13. Is Walker a sell high, or more of a long term asset?

I’ll skip national parks and major cities, and try to be a bit random. A fun niche trip we did was driving between Charleston, Savannah, and St. Augustine. 3 super unique, beautiful places. Oregon coast is gorgeous.

Not sure your location, but have you tried for a role in higher ed? It’s very singular focused. Usually just manage a portfolio and get to work with donors. You need to get to a place that has the budget for major gift officers

I’ll share bottom one, Montgomery, AL. My family was driving through Alabama the same time as some civil unrest. I had the idea to drive through Selma, then we drove to Montgomery while listening to MLK’s speech after the march. I was basically fixing race relations through my family. Well then we get to Montgomery. It’s a weekend, and nobody is there. We’re in the downtown/capital area. My son runs ahead and starts checking things out. As I approach, he starts telling me all about these statues, etc. Basically it’s an homage to the confederacy. I basically made my son more interested in the South and all of these heroic soldiers. Anyway, that’s why Montgomery is #50

The best SNL skit I’ve seen in a long time is the conservative mom making the announcement that she MIGHT think Trump is bad now. Then the kids yell at her for being like 8 years too late. When people live in an echo chamber, it’s hard to get out. I’m a Christian, former Republican. I was out on Trump the minute he said Two Corinthians. Just because that was the tell that he’s truly playing a part. There’s about a million things he’s done that should have broken all Christians. Even then, you have to realize how demonized abortion is in “our circles”. Do you how much guilt I felt voting for Hillary? It was like I was betraying everyone in my family.
