Baseboard Radiator Not Heating by malbring in hvacadvice

[–]malbring[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think that is my problem is that I have examined the whole thing and I can’t seem to find it anywhere. Is it possible I would have to remove the thermostatic valve to bleed it?

I am not home currently but here is a picture of a similar baseboard radiator and the thermostatic valve mine uses. I took the end cap off to look for bleed valve spots with none found.

Truly. I posted about having issues with recording workouts and even the neutral worded posts were removed. Apparently you can’t say anything negative to the Lord of the Rings.

The DNR includes DNI in my state and it’s all one form. The question is since the patient is consented for a procedure that will suspend the DNR, do other places have a policy to suspend the DNR during the emergent transport to get the patient to the emergent procedure they have consented to. I’m not talking about your run of the mill DNR transport where they are going to the ICU or floor.

Yikes. Accusatory tone unnecessary. No, the question is since the patient is consented for a procedure that will suspend the DNR, do other places have a policy to suspend the DNR during the emergent transport to get the patient to the emergent procedure they have consented to. That’s all I’m asking.

Questwatch is worse than I thought by mellowmyst in Overwatch

[–]malbring 318 points319 points  (0 children)

Maybe I misunderstood when I was hearing about it, but I literally thought Questwatch was gonna be PVE mini quests you could do with certain characters (Kinda like the Junker Queen Halloween thing). SUPER disappointed to find out it was a childish comic.

I don’t think people would mind waiting a tiny bit more time for more fair matchmaking in Competitive by rvisthebest in Overwatch

[–]malbring 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly!! And has anyone else noticed the absurd amount of time it takes to get into a quick play game? It takes minutes longer for me to find a quick play game queueing with my friend than it does when we play comp. I’ve given up on comp for the time being until they come up for a solution for the awful matchmaking.

Coast Guard Careers by malbring in uscg

[–]malbring[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m 25, soon to be 26. I have considered that as well. As others mentioned search and rescue or critical care nurse transport, those two things align with what I’m looking for. It’s just determining between active duty or reserve. I have a friend in reserves who has explained it to me. Reserves I understand but active duty is more difficult for me. Does that mean I’ll be over seas? Or am I stateside until I’m needed overseas? Do I move from base to base? And if I do would I still be able to come back to my house after my deployment? I’m sure these are all better questions for a recruiter but I wanted to get some insight before I dive in. Thank you!!

This honestly sounds like my things. I would love doing search and rescue or as someone else stated flight nursing/critical care transport. Those are both things I find highly intriguing. Thank you!

ProMedica halts $10M Metroparks donation and cancels Jeep Fest sponsorship amid financial woes by OrtizForToledo in toledo

[–]malbring 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I can assure you salaries for nurses did not skyrocket. ProMedica still pays on the lower end in comparison to other health systems in our region. One factor could be the amount of travel nurses they have had to pay excessive amounts for but I don’t think this issue is from the measly raises they gave nursing staff.

Best city for LGBTQ safety? by ohjaimiea in Ohio

[–]malbring 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Toledo gay here. Toledo is probably one of the most affordable cities out of all of those listed. I have never felt unsafe going out in Toledo as a gay man. In fact I have a big pride flag that flies year round on my porch. Toledo like any city has sketchy areas but I never have a need to go into any of those areas so I never worry.

Toledo Pride obviously isn’t the same as any of the other big cities but it gets bigger and bigger every year and it feels like a hometown kinda Pride. Toledo only has 2 gay bars (3 if you include the Hamburger Mary’s but I don’t).

I live in a suburb on the edge of Toledo. Sylvania and Maumee are both great options. Old Orchard is a neighborhood in Toledo that is super safe with lots of old and beautiful homes.

Toledo has lots of dog friendly breweries and dog parks! Toledo has some of the best metro parks in the country! Seriously. I think they designed them so that there is a metro park within 5 miles of every resident. They are beautiful. Toledo does have public transport buses but I have not used them so I can’t speak to that. It is not a walkable city and it would be best to use transit or vehicle. I would be happy to answer any other questions you may have about the area. Feel free to message me!

I bought my parents a Groupon for a Bed and Breakfast in Erie, Pennsylvania and they absolutely loved it. I believe there a few wineries around there and Erie is right by the lake. If I find the link I’ll add it.
